The Pumpkin Express

Fall is here and of course the leaves are changing and its gotten cooler. I was going to go on a unique train ride and invited several of my best friends to go along. In Lebanon Ohio, the L&M Railway offers train rides on a 1940's era locomotive to various venues in the valley. Ours was the Pumpkin Express... a nice 45 minute ride each way to a working farm that offers such things as a Corn Maze, a petting zoo with cute animals, and cider and photo ops.... So off we went. We all started out in the 4th car but the train offered an open air gondola, and we ended up riding in that car to and from the event. The entire outing was a lot of fun, and the best part was doing it with good friends. After, we all went to The Golden Lamb. The Golden Lamb is a 5 star restaurant known all over as the oldest Inn in the state of Ohio. Many presidents have eaten and stayed at the place, which was full of charm. It was a great experience that I'll be glad do again!
