City lights glowing
People shuffle about
The stars overhead
Clouded by the Fog
Blinded by the reflection
I watch the souless
Wandering empty streets
Passing one another
Nobody talking
In a staggered silence
I often wonder
Where they need to go
Where they want to be
From where this night
Their empty stares
A journey begun in silence
Retrace their steps
To a point of no return
So many miles gone by
This endless path
We walk alone tonight
